Welcome to the world of Original Expressionist Paintings by Ema Bauer - an invitation to experience art that reaches beyond the visible and into the emotional, symbolic, and spiritual dimensions of human existence. Every painting is created as an original work of art, expressing a personal dialogue between inner experience and the natural world.
These Original Expressionist Paintings are not simply representations of reality. They are visual journeys through memory, emotion, dreams, and transformation. Inspired by nature, ancestry, mythology, and the subconscious, each artwork invites the viewer to pause, reflect, and discover a personal meaning within the image.
Whether you are an art collector, interior designer, gallery curator, or someone looking for meaningful contemporary art, these Original Expressionist Paintings offer more than decoration - they offer an emotional connection that continues to unfold over time.

Artistic Vision
At the heart of my practice lies a simple belief: art should make us feel before it asks us to understand.
My paintings explore the complexity of human emotions and the profound relationship between people and the natural world. Forests, rivers, mountains, skies, roots, animals, and organic forms become metaphors for our inner experiences. Nature is never merely a background - it becomes a living participant in the emotional narrative.
Many of my Original Expressionist Paintings draw inspiration from ancestral memory and cultural heritage. Invisible threads connect generations, carrying stories, emotions, and wisdom that continue to shape who we are. Through symbolic imagery and expressive color, these themes emerge naturally, inviting viewers to reflect upon their own origins and personal journeys.
Dreams and the subconscious also play an important role in my creative process. Surreal elements dissolve the boundary between reality and imagination, allowing familiar objects to acquire unexpected meanings. Rather than providing answers, the paintings encourage contemplation, intuition, and emotional discovery.
Although rooted in expressionism, my artistic language moves freely between abstraction, symbolism, figurative suggestions, and poetic visual storytelling.
Original Artworks
Every painting presented in this collection is an authentic original created by the artist's own hand.
I believe that original art possesses a presence that cannot be reproduced. Textures, brushstrokes, layers of paint, spontaneous gestures, and subtle details create an energy that exists only in the original piece.
My Original Expressionist Paintings are created using acrylics, oils, mixed media, drawing materials, and experimental techniques whenever they best serve the emotional intention of the artwork. Each piece develops organically through an intuitive dialogue between the artist, the materials, and the evolving image.
Because every artwork is unique, collectors receive a one-of-a-kind expression that cannot be duplicated. These original artworks are suitable for private collections, contemporary interiors, galleries, offices, hospitality spaces, and anyone seeking meaningful contemporary expressionist art.
Creative Process
Every painting begins long before the first brush touches the canvas.
Ideas often arise while walking in nature, observing changing seasons, reflecting during meditation, or recalling fragments of dreams and memories. Rather than following predetermined sketches, I allow each painting to evolve naturally through intuition.
The creative process balances conscious artistic decisions with openness to the unexpected. Layers are built gradually, erased, transformed, and rediscovered until the composition reaches emotional authenticity.
Color plays a central role throughout the work. Rather than describing physical reality, colors communicate psychological states, atmosphere, movement, and energy. Texture becomes another language, inviting viewers to experience the paintings not only visually but almost physically.
This intuitive approach ensures that every one of my Original Expressionist Paintings carries its own distinct character and emotional resonance.
Why Collect Original Expressionist Paintings?
Original art enriches our lives in ways that extend far beyond aesthetics.
An original painting brings individuality into a space while reflecting the personality of its owner. It creates conversations, evokes memories, inspires reflection, and often reveals new meanings over many years of living with it.
Collectors of Original Expressionist Paintings are often drawn to works that express authenticity rather than perfection. Expressionist art celebrates emotion, vulnerability, imagination, and the complexity of being human. These qualities make each painting deeply personal while remaining universally relatable.
Choosing an original artwork is also an investment in creativity, craftsmanship, and the continuing dialogue between artist and collector. Every painting carries the marks of its creation, making it impossible to replace with a reproduction.
